Portopalo di Capo Passero.

Portopalo di Capo Passero is a village and fishing port located about two miles north-east of Cape Passero, the southernmost point of Sicily. The fishing port is located in a fairly large natural bay, additionally sheltered by breakwaters on the east and west sides. Trawlers and other small commercial vessels often anchor here. Portopalo di Capo Passero is also used by yachtsmen waiting for the suitable winds to sail down to or from the Maltese archipelago to Sicily.

Near the fishing port there are a couple of restaurants and a fish market. The village, or rather small tourist town, whose center is about a kilometer north-east of the port, has several churches and buildings of interesting architecture, as well as a couple of supermarkets and many bars and restaurants.
