Yacht anchorage in Marina Piccola

Marina Piccola is the only bay on Capri protected from the north winds (however, it is completely open to the south). Marina Piccola is located on the south coast of the island opposite Marina Grande.

Piccola Marina is a wide open bay bordered on the east side by the three impressive Il Faraglioni sea rocks. It is the most popular yacht anchorage in Capri and in high season it is crowded with yachts. Finding a place to anchor is not easy. The best shelter (if you can get there) is in the bay below the restaurant built on the rocks, where the depths are 6.0-10.0 meters. The anchor holds good on a sandy bottom.
