Yacht moorings Porto Novo Salerno is located in the north-eastern part of the commercial port of Salerno.

Porto Novo consists of a series of pontoons and quays located in the northeastern part of the commercial port. The pontoons are operated by seven separate companies, providing a total of over 1,000 berths, of which approximately 120 are believed to be for transit yachts. Depths at the pontoons ranges from 2.0 to 5.0 meters.

Due to the multitude of pontoon management companies, it is not possible to book a berth in advance. Therefore, it is necessary to make an agreement on the spot. The shelter for yachts here is good, except for strong southerly winds, which cause unpleasant ripples. There are no toilets or showers.

There are a few bars ashore on the harbor area. Next to the harbor are a couple of tavernas. There is a small grocery store and a couple of good fish stores within a 10-15 minute walk. The center of Solerno is about twenty minutes by foot.

Porto Novo is home to the only charter company in the region that offers bareboat sailing yachts for rent.
