Terracina Yacht Marina

Terracina Yacht Marina is located on the Tyrrhenian coast of Italy, 30 miles south-east of Nettuno and 15 miles west-northwest of Gaeta.

Terracina's yacht marina is a channel-harbor protected by the Grigoriano pier from the south and by a rocky pier from the north. There are two docks inside the harbor. Both sides of the canal are waterfront. They are equipped with columns and mooring rings.

Dangers: be aware, both on entry and exit, of the existence of fishing boats moored along the canal waterfronts; the seabed is changing, producing sandbanks at the entrance to the port. At Fosa Canneto, about 2 miles north-east of the port of Terracina, there is a protective breakwater perpendicular to the coast, with a total length of 300 m, of which the first 50 m are above water and the remaining 250 m are under water.

Access time: continuous.
Access: for entering / leaving the port it is advisable to go to the channel that extends from the estuary of the port to the east and north-east. Access to the port is prohibited for vessels with a draft of more than 2.7 meters. Be extra careful, especially at night, in poor visibility or in case of unfavorable weather conditions. Contact the Maritime Authority or local marine operators about availability of berths.
Seabed: mud and sand.

Depths: 0.6 to 3 meters at the waterfront.
VHF: channel 16 - 14 (ch. 07/19).
Berths: about 80 at the inner dock and 120 at the new dock.
Maximum length: up to 14m at the both docks.
Prohibitions: maximum speed 3 knots; mooring prohibited for all yachts along the left and right banks of the canal. Entry / exit from the harbor is prohibited for yachts with a draft of more than 2.70 m due to the continuous evolution of the seabed near the estuary of the harbor.
Winds: I and IV quadrants in spring, II and IV quadrants in autumn and winter.
Shelter: in summer south of the temple of Jupiter of Anxur.
