Linosa is a small Italian volcanic island in the Mediterranean Sea, lying 88 miles from Sicily and 90 miles from Tunisia. It is part of the Pelagian Islands. Administratively it belongs to the province of Agrigento in the region of Sicily. The area is 5.43 km². Elevation above sea level - 195 m. Population - 433 people (2001). The main occupations: agriculture, fishery, tourism. The island is connected by ferry communication with Sicily and Lampedusa.
The coastline of the island is rather smooth. There are almost no spots for anchorages. You can moor your yacht to the pier in Porto di Linosa and in Cala Pazzolana di Ponente.
