Vulcano Island

Vulcano, the closest island in the Lipari archipelago to Sicily, is located 11 miles north of the north coast of Sicily. The island of Vulcano is of volcanic origin. It has several craters, one of which is active. The island has fumaroles - cracks and holes located in craters, on the slopes and at the foot of volcanoes and serving as sources of hot gases, as well as hot springs and mud. The most convenient moorings, including the marina, are in the north of the island, right next to the hot springs and mud lake.
