Felicite Island is a granite island with dense forests, located 2 miles east of La Digue Island in the Seychelles. It is the fifth largest island in the Seychelles archipelago.
Until the 1970s, it was a coconut plantation with a population of about 50 people. In the late 19th century, Felicite was home to Sultan Abdullah of Perak, who was exiled there by the British. In 2007, the Seychelles government granted a 99-year lease on the then-uninhabited island, which was taken over by Singaporean developer Kishore Buxani in 2013. Buxani and Seychelles developer Mukesh Valabhji began building the resort in middle of 2013. Today, the Six Senses Zil Pasyon resort has 30 villas and a spa and occupies one-third of the island.
Two-thirds of the island is occupied by Ramos National Park.
Yachts can be anchored in the north-western part of the island, but since the island is private, you can't go ashore.
