Albarella Island

Albarella Island is located in the Po Delta Regional Park, between Chioggia (distance 30 km) and Comacchio (distance 45 km), in the municipality of Rosolina in the province of Rovigo, Veneto.

The island, immersed in the nature of the Po Delta Regional Park, connected to the mainland by an embankment road and a bridge, extends over 528 hectares covered with Mediterranean shrubbery, with 2 million trees of 150 different species, including maritime pine and white poplar, “Populus Alba”, from which the island takes its name. An ideal place for sporty and family-oriented people.

The island has a yacht marina, Porto Albarella. Just south of the island, on the Po River, there are three more marinas.
