OHANA is a motoryacht of contemporary classical style, designed by Donald Starkey and built by Admiral Marine Works, Inc. A circular staircase provides access from the sundeck to the lower decks - a feature found only on much larger yachts. The sundeck staircase accesses the entire ship, through all decks. There are two U-shaped bars finsihed in teak and surrounded by a total of 12 bar chairs. Both bars are protected from the sun by either the arch, or electric awnings that extend both forward and aft from the arch. There is a six-person jacuzzi with sun lounging pads and a barbecue grill with circular settees surrounding teak cocktail tables. This area is entirely covered by a quickly removable "tent awning" supported by aerofoil fiberglass stanchions. The main salon on the bridge deck has superior light, ventilation and space - surpassing a conventional arrangment. There is a wetbar, a 4-place game table, comfortable seating and coffee tables. Double stainless steel doors access the owner's dining decks, which is arranged with a teak table and 12 chairs for alfresco dining. Table leaves are stored in a built-in cabinet. This entire deck is protected from the sun by the sun deck overhead, and an electric awning to cover the aft seating area. The bridge deck is well laid out with great visibility and a U-shpaed seating area for owner's and guests. There is an ensuite Captain's cabin to starboard, with the ship's office to port, properly outfitted with Satcom's, communication and office equipment. The full-width master stateroom has a custom king-size bed, his and her master baths with two sinks, two heads (hers with bidet), central shower and jacuzzi tub. The owner's sitting area has easy chairs, settee, bookshelves, entertainment center and desk. The dining room is further aft, arranged with two circular tables, each with 6 chairs and extensive storage in hand-painted curved cabinets aft. Aft of the dining room is the "verandah deck" and entertainment center. There is an excellent view out of the main aft deck through double glass doors. This is an ideal room for children and games, with easy access to the water sports areas. Ohana sleeps 10 owner's and guests in five staterooms and 10 crew in four double crew cabins and a separate Captain's cabin. All four guest staterooms are equipped with their own safes, entertainment centers and computer network access. If desired an oversized VIP accommodation is created by combining two adjacent staterooms into one spacious suite. An entirely separate and devoted theater system is in the upper main salon with retractable screen. Sony projector and Meridian components.
